When you heard the term “e-cycle”, did you immediately think of an electronic bicycle? If you did, that’s pretty funny. It’s actually something completely different. When should you recycle your computer stuff?
Don’t just throw away those old components. They might be useful in some other computer and some of them are dangerous to end up in a landfill and need to go to a recycling center. We will make sure that your old electronics will be disposed of in a manner that is ecologically and environmentally sound. Here are some times that you might be able to get rid of some of the stuff you call junk.
- Your monitor stopped working.
- Your laptop battery no longer charges or keeps a charge.
- Some of your peripherals are outdated and could use an upgrade.
- You’re getting a whole new computer.
- You’re still using a ball mouse and are buying a new laser mouse.
- You’re still using a CRT (old school) monitor and are upgrading to a new LCD or LED monitor.
These are just some of the instances that you might consider bringing in those old electronics and we might purchase some of them that qualify. You might might be surprised at some of the things you have stashed away in order attic or storage unit. It might not only earn you a few extra dollars that was just sitting around the house, but it is the right thing to do for our planet. Recycle today!
